Ok, so here are the rules. I really need everyone to follow them in order for this to be a nice, friendly RP environment.
1. No intentional slurs on anyone else. If you are in character and happen to be a mean character (like Jessica or Paul), then try to keep language PG. We don't want to offend anyone.
2. No God-moding. You know, no controlling other characters. You cannot make someone else's arm move. If they detail what they're thinking or feeling, you can't automatically know it. Etc.
3. No one line posts. People like to work with more than just one line. Explain things and give feelings and thoughts.
4. Register before you start posting. I don't want any guests going and asking to be characters because I can't make a guest a character of the site. Once you've registered and are a member, then I can make you a character.
5. Sign up to be a character before you start posting outside the Registration area. Go to sign ups and apply for a character. Once I've approved you, then you can start posting. The password to the sign up board is "Solution"
6. You are limited to having 3 characters.
7. No more than one character on an account (i.e. no twins or siblings in the story sharing one usename).
8. You are definitely encouraged to have a signature, even with a picture of your character, but keep signatures reasonably sized, please. (edit) I'm actually going to insist that people have signatures with pictures. It's much easier to keep track of everyone that way. Even if you don't think you're good at making a signature, just put a picture. It doesn't have to be fancy.
9. Absolutely NO chatspeak when RPing. That's fine for the cbox and in the General area, but once you're rping, I don't want to see any lol or ppl. Use whole words, people.
10. Remember, this type of forum is not compatable with HTML or CSS formatting. If you don't understand what formatting to use, PM a staff member.
11. No perfect characters. You know what I mean, no one that has perfect grades but doesn't like school. Who's so hot she makes all the boys want her, is so kind she can, like, talk to animals, etc. We don't want anyone that's perfect. It's annoying. I want to see flaws, people! Flaws are what make characters interesting.
Have fun!
