Harry Potter's 7th year. Slightly AU. Potter stays at Hogwarts rather than going to find the Horcruxes. We accept canons & OCs.
Plot:
After the death of Albus Dumbledore, Hogwarts has undergone a great change. Students who once saw Hogwarts as a haven from the rest of the events in the Wizarding world have been forced into hiding and the school has been overrun by Death Eaters. The new Headmaster of the school is Severus Snape, and because of this, being part of the Slytherin house gives the students a serious advantage, while the rest of the houses suffer with the 'Golden Trio' too distracted to defend them.
However, the Slytherins have found 'running the school' to be difficult, despite the advantages. Standing united now that they have power is something that they don't do well, and as a result even the new favored house faces conflict. Will you survive in a world without protection, or will your fellow student and staffs' Malicious Intent get the best of you?
